Astoria Winery
An Exceptional Experience with Prosecco from Astoria Winery
Astoria Winery, founded in 1987, is a typical Italian wine producer from the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. It is a family-owned winery specializing in the production of prosecco and still Italian wines, although we will focus here on prosecco.

From the very beginning, this winery became one of the leading prosecco producers in its region. Astoria prosecco is distinguished by high quality and is therefore a favorite sparkling wine among prosecco lovers worldwide. Astoria offers various types of prosecco, including brut, extra brut, dry, extra dry, and demi-sec, appealing to a wide customer base with many flavor preferences.
My personal recommendation is Astoria’s “Fanó” Asolo Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut. This very dry prosecco stands out with brilliant freshness. Thanks to the higher altitude vineyards with rocky soil, it has slight mineral notes dominated by white fruit and apple tones, fine bubbles, and a crisp acidity. If you enjoy fish or seafood, these pairings will provide a great culinary experience.
Returning to Astoria winery itself, the family focuses on innovation and offers other interesting prosecco-related products. Among them is Astoria – Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Millesimato, made from grapes from selected vineyards and carrying the prestigious D.O.C.G. designation. Astoria has earned its popularity due to the excellent quality of its wines and the passionate dedication of the entire family to grape growing, winemaking, and also a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly production, which is another reason why its prosecco is sought after by enthusiasts. It is worth mentioning that Astoria has been associated for many years with the world-famous cycling race Giro d’Italia, one of the most prestigious cycling events globally, held annually in Italy. Thanks to this association with a prestigious event, Astoria winery strengthens its position as one of the most respected producers of prosecco.
